IT IS NEARLY CHRISTMAS...

Where has this year gone, and more importantly why have i not posted since forever?!

Anyway i think we are all aware of how close Christmas and New Year really is now..
I am sure the summer holidays just did not happen this year, did i even go on holiday?

I did and it was super hot and lovely but it only lasted a week and once that week was over, it was back to work in England, (our summer was not much of a 'summer') Brilliant.

But purely because i want to upload them, (and also show you i once again cut all of my hair off to my shoulders for an unknown reason) here are a few pics i have from our holiday to Spain.

So anyway, back onto the important subject of having to spend ridiculous amounts of money on friends and family to show them you love them once a year. And because it is another holiday after all. Now i know Christmas isn't just about presents etc etc, and its all about spending time with your family etc etc.

(Who else is in love with the John Lewis advert this year?)

Now..
What to buy?

Here are some hints and tips to buying presents.

- A box of smellys (this does not mean you smell, this is literally a box of things that smell good) this could be: bath bombs, perfumes, body sprays, pamper sets. You understand.

- A box of old fashioned sweets! Me and Sean did this last year, and it was such a good idea. You can find out the recipient of your gift's favorite sweets, what they love, and what you cannot buy anymore (the internet is wonderful) and simply get a cute Christmas gift box and fill it up, but a ribbon on, and ta daaa.

- Gift cards, this is for those who you really have no idea what to get.
A gift card does mean this, i always think when i get given a gift card i must either be a really picky or difficult person, or the thing they wanted to buy was a little too much..
So heres a little money off that said thing. No really, it can be quite nice to get a gift card when you forget you have it, and you're shopping and suddenly remember you have £10 off your purchase in H&M.

- Books. I love books, i love the look of books on a shelf, ( is this weird?) i would like to think one day i will have enough to cover at least two walls in my room. So buy someone a book, they will appreciate it. Any kind of book will do.

- Electronics, now these can be expensive, but if you have been saving all year and are good at not spending all of your earnings on food, then you may be able to afford to buy that PlayStation 4 that your boyfriend wants for £300. (I hope he does not read this, i am not buying him one.)

- CANDLES. Everyone loves candles. They smell nice, they make everything smell nice. You can get candles for every occasion, smelling of everything and anything you could ever think of. So if your Mum loves the smell of spiced apple and cotton sheets, get her a few Yankee candles.

- Pictures of you, and the recipient in a cute frame. Simple, but nice to have on your windowsill.

- An experience. You could buy your Girlfriend or friend a holiday! (Hint hint) Or maybe not a holiday if that's too expensive, but a trip to the theatre, or go diving with sharks or some crazy activity along those lines.

- Last but not least, because i can not think of anymore tips. TAKE THEM SHOPPING.
Let them choose their own presents. Its easy, and you know that they like their present. Just be sure to establish how much you are willing to spend before they pick up a pair of shoes for £560..
